If you like hard-driving, danceable, good time rock 'n roll, you'll love Large Marvin.
Large Marvin, the band, was originally formed in 2001 and made its debut appearance at the Croatian Club in Riverside. Founding Member Gene Fahey brought in Joe E. O'Donnell to anchor the core sound of the band followed shortly thereafter by Jim Meyer and Julie Zenger. Since its formation, Large Marvin has played numerous clubs, bars, festivals, fund-raisers and private parties in the Buffalo area and always prides itself on being available for a worthy cause. Over time, as with most bands, members have come and gone. The newest members of the band are Gary Kowalski and Steve Wagner. Both bring extensive musical experience to the band. Gary has been a part of the Buffalo music scene for many years and is also currently a drummer for Tom Stahl And The Dangerfields. Steve has been a guitar player since his teens. His professional experience began in coffee houses and clubs and included radio and TV appearances in the US and Canada as well as work with electric bands, recording projects, and commercial sessions.
