General Wedding Polices

The Village Casino would be honored to host your reception. Please carefully read our information and policies, and contact our wedding coordinator if you have any additional questions.

Food and Beverage

We look forward to working together to create a wonderful celebration for you and will customize our offerings to the best of our abilities.

Final menu selections, including entree counts, are due 14 days prior to the event. The number guaranteed will be charged even if fewer guests attend.

If you are offering your guests a choice of entrees, we require guests to have individual place cards showing their entree choice on the back.

Bar Service

All prices listed are for guests 21 years and older; guests under 21 years are $5.00 per person.

Please note: In accordance with NYS Law, all food and beverage must be proved by The Village Casino. Outside food and beverage is not permitted anywhere on the premises. The only exception is for Wedding Cake.

Deposit and Cancellation

A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking to reserve the room. Two months prior to your wedding, a $2000.00 non-refundable deposit is required. Both deposits will be applied towards your final bill.

Rehearsals and Showers:

A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required for weekends (Friday & Saturdays). A $250.00 non-refundable deposit is required for Weekdays (Sunday-Thursday). Deposit is required at time of booking to reserve the room, and is applied towards your final bill.

Your final counts are due 14 days prior to your wedding date.

The balance will be due 14 days prior to your wedding.

In the event of cancellation, the deposit payments will not be refunded.

20% Administrative Fee & Tax

All charges are subject to change. All invoices are subject to a 20% taxable administrative fee plus applicable New York State Sales tax. The administrative fee is not intended to be a tip and is not distributed to as gratuity to the wait staff or any other employees who provide service to your guests.Tipping is entirely voluntary and is at the guests discretion. If you wish to provide extra gratuity to servers, you may do so by writing the amount on a separate "gratuity" line on the bill. All charges and unpaid balances must be paid in full at the completion of your event.

Food and Alcohol Services

New York State regulates that no food or beverages will be brought into or on our premises. The exception is made for wedding cake bakeries.

Entertainment

You may arrange for your own entertainment. Management reserves the right to limit the volume of your entertainment to acceptable levels and hours. All entertainment must end no later than midnight.

Rental Items

If you are renting outside equipment and/or structures, including but not limited to arbors, arches, furnishings etc, a copy of the vendor's certificate of insurance must be submitted to our wedding coordinator at least 14 days prior to your event.

The removal deadline for all other structures and etc. is at the discretion of the wedding coordinator based on other events scheduled the following day, and must be discussed and agreed upon with the wedding coordinator, prior to submission of the vendors certificate of insurance. Failure to adhere to the agreed upon removal deadline will result in a fee of $1000.00

Payment Requirements

Proper payment information must be provided prior to the event.

All charges and unpaid balances must be paid in full 14 days prior to the event.

Credit Card, Personal Check or a bank cashier check is accepted.

Is a deposit required to book my wedding at The Village Casino?

Yes, we require a non-refundable $500.00 deposit at the time of booking to reserve the date for your event. A second non-refundable deposit of $2000.00 is due two months prior to your wedding date.

When is my final payment due?

Final payment for all charges and unpaid balances is due 14 days prior to your wedding date.

What types of payments are accepted for deposits and payments at The Village Casino?

A personal check or bank cashier checks accepted for payment of deposits and final payments. Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express are all accepted.

When are my final guests counts due?

Final guest counts are due 14 days prior to your wedding date

When are my menu selections due and is there a tasting prior to the selection?

Final menu selections are due 14 days prior to your wedding date. A complimentary tasting is included in your package to assist your with making your final selections. Please contact our wedding coordinator to schedule your tasting.

What are my meal options and costs for my vendors?

Vendors meals cost $ per person and vendors may select any of the meal options chosen for your event. Each vendor meal includes entree, two side dishes, and a soft drink. Please note hors d’oeuvres and salads are not included in the vendors meal. Please note that The Village Casino policy prohibits vendors from consuming alcohol on premise before, during, and after your event.

What is the cost for guest under age 21?

The cost for guest age 12-20 will be calculated by subtracting the bar cost from your selected package price. The price includes all food selections offered in your package such as passed and/or stationary hors d’oeuvres, salad, entree, and soft drinks. Please advise our wedding coordinator the number of guest age 12-20 and their meal selections when submitting your final guest counts.In accordance with state and federal laws, individuals under 21 are not permitted to consume alcohol.

What are the meal options and cost for children ages 10 and under?

We offer a choice of children meals for gusts 10 and under for $10.00 per child: Your choice of Macaroni & Cheese or Chicken fingers, served with french fries and applesauce. Please advise our wedding coordinator of the number of children ages 10 and under and their meal selections when your submitting your final guest count.

May I use outside caterers, food trucks, or other food and beverage vendors?

In accordance with New York State laws, all food and beverage must be provided by The Village Casino. An exception is made only for wedding cake bakeries.

Is there on-site parking?

No we do not have on site parking. We can however save a couple public spots for the bridal party. We also reserve boat slips for guests that would like to arrive by boat.

When must I have all of my items out of the reception room?

At the conclusion of your event, it is your responsibility to remove all items from the reception room, including but nit limited to gifts and cards, decor, floral arrangements, audio/visual equipment, etc. No items may be left in the reception room at the end of the night. If you have made arrangements in advance to store any itms you will have 48 hours to pick them up or they will be discarded.
